The only other known copy of this image is in the collection of the National Portrait Gallery.
McGraw is remembered for his bold field and management tactics as a baseball player and manager during the period he was with the New York Giants. Nicknamed "Little Napoleon," he helped to organize the American League and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1937.
