Additional Details

". . . Needless to say I have received no answer from Leeds to my two letters requesting accounting and payment.
"Please take this in your own hands and give it prompt action. [T]hese people at Leeds are awful and I have no intention to show more patience nor any kindness to them. . . ."
Stravinsky was especially mistrustful of the Leeds Music Corporation, against whom he brought suit in the late 1940s for failing to fulfill the terms of their contract for the publication of a popular adaptation of his "Summer Moon."
