A New Orleans native, printmaker Sue Smock's art reflects her rich family heritage and a long interest in non-Western imagery in printmaking. Smock has had a distinguished career as a printmaker and art professor, in addition to having her work exhibited intenationally. Her prints are in the collection of the California African-American Museum, the Amistad Research Center, the New Orleans Museum of Art and the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
