Advertising a performance of Synderinden [Sinner], starring the popular Danish actress Ellen Aggerholm, "Brasch here has focussed on Aggerholm's face, especially the lips, eyes and hair, to create the feeling of a fallen woman, the subject of the play." (Dailey-Turner, introduction). One of Brasch's most famous images, it was exhibited in Paris in 1925 and reached a wider audience the following year when a color reproduction was included in Sydney Jones's Posters & Publicity.
