Miriam Schapiro's Collaboration Series: Mother Russia paid homage to Russian women artists of the 20th century, including Sonia Delaunay, Olga Rozanova, Lyubov Popova, and Natalia Goncharova, among others. It serves to remind contemporary female artists of the obstacles encountered and overcome by their predecessors.
