First edition in English, octavo, with added engraved title facing engraved portrait bust of the translator, Henry Carey, Earl of Monmouth (1596-1661); with sixteen leaves after the text consisting of two catalogue lists of books printed for Humphrey Moseley, each an octavo signature: the first begins, "Courteous Reader, these Books following" and lists Historicall Relations of the United Provinces as the first title; the second signed begins, "New Additions to the Catalogue of Books," listing Nero Caesar, or Monarcy Depraved; bound in original calf boards, rebacked, new endleaves, ex libris a member of the Cowper family, with bookplate naming their former country house, "Panshanger," pasted inside front board, 6 3/4 x 4 1/2 in.
