Quick-to-See Smith was a member of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes and a revolutionary artist whose work was used as a proclamation of connectedness between Native American people and their ancestral homelands. Also an activist, she shared personal and ancestral stories, symbols, and powerful messages of reclamation.
