Galli was a California painter, illustrator and printmaker. Although a member of the New York and California Society of Illustrators, and the designer of twenty six stamps for the United States Postal Service, he is best remembered for the series of posters he designed for United Airlines in the 1950s and 60s. Here, a Franciscan Friar is feeding the pigeons outside of the Santa Barbara Mission.
