A Norwegian fisherman in his little wooden boat is meeting one of the Sandringham flying boats that were part of the Norwegian Air Lines fleet from 1947 onwards. Despite the beauty of the surrounding countryside and the aerodynamic grace of the aircraft, DNL lost three of these planes in accidents between 1947 and 1950.
