TADANORI YOKOO (1936- ) "DIARY OF A SHINJUKU BURGLAR." 1968. 39 1/4x28 inches, 99 3/4x71 cm. Condition A: light creases in margins and image. Silkscreen. Paper. Hand-signed by the artist in pencil. One of two posters that Yokoo designed for this movie. As he often did with his posters, he employs a symmetrical layout using cartouches and vignettes (reminiscent of old musical posters), which he combines with daring imagery, such as the man falling down with his legs spread, and various other sexual depictions.
