A major Finnish, post-war designer and sculptor, who primarily worked with glass and wood, Wirkkala is perhaps best remembered for his designs for Finnish banknotes in circulation from 1955-1981 and the design of the Finlandia Vodka bottle. Here he is promoting Finland's oldest ceramic factory for an exhibition in Amsterdam. He designed very few posters.
