Ted Jones, a professor of art at Fisk University, Nashville, is well known for his work in printmaking and repoussé. Jones has exhibited frequently in the Atlanta Life National Art Competition and Exhibitions through the 1990s. He was recently included in the 2009 group exhibition Proof Positive: Master Prints from the Collection of Fisk University Galleries at the Crystal Bridges at the Massey, and the 2013 group exhibition Jubilee!, the inaugural exhibition of the repurposed Van Vechten Gallery at Fisk University. We believe this is his first work to come to auction.
