Writer, painter, and architect David Lewis was also the founder of Urban Design Associates in Pittsburgh and a Distinguished Professor of Urban Studies at Carnegie Mellon University. He wrote the book Thaddeus Mosley: African-American Sculptor distilled from taped interviews with Mosley, as well as from a deep understanding of his art and influences after a 25+ year friendship.
