Condition B+: restoration and time-staining along vertical and horizontal folds; time-staining in margins. Two sheets. Among Steinlen's favorite topics were his daughter, the social and political plight of the working classes, and cats. He must have been extremely happy to receive a commission to design a poster for a veterinarian. He shows an elegant animal lover and protector, leaning against a wall surrounded by adoring cats and dogs.
