Additional Details

Fogarty (1873-1938) was a highly regarded educator at the Art Students League where he taught painting, composition, and life drawing. His most notable pupils were Walter Biggs, Norman Rockwell, and McClelland Barclay. During his life, he exhibited his work at the Whitney Museum of American Art.
