This is one of Benton's (1889-1975) earliest lithographs and was published in the second portfolio circulated by the Contemporary Print Group, The American Scene, Series 2, along with prints by John Steuart Curry, William Gropper, Russell Limbach, Charles Locke and Raphael Soyer.
