Bogelund was the pioneer of modern Danish poster art who first introduced clean typography and synthetic images into wide usage. For decades, he worked for Tivoli, Copenhagen's gigantic amusement park and exhibition space. "Bogelund worked in many styles and is perhaps the most versatile and prolific of Danish poster artists.
