Bogelund was the pioneer of modern Danish poster art who first introduced clean typography and synthetic images into wide usage. For decades he worked for Tivoli, Copenhagen's gigantic amusement park and exhibition space. This poster presented the graphic challenge of advertiseing two dissimilar events with a single image. His simple, synthetic solution is brilliant: He uses each side of the stylized image of a man's head, split in half, to represent a different aspect of the exhibition.
