This exceptional, stylized modernist image emerges out of the Osaka Art Deco school; it is a sophisticated combination of graphics and typography, and an incredibly rare Japanese Art Deco image. It advertises summer discount travel to the mountains (between July 11th and August 31st) on the Osaka Railway, wonderfully intriguing passengers with the lure of snow in summertime. "If you want mountains then the Northern Alps are the place--all routes have discount locomotive service."
