first edition of a dialogue on the Italian language printed in an Arrighi italic employing the orthographic reforms unsuccessfully advocated by Trissino, which included the use of Greek letters to differentiate open and closed vowels. Laid in is a 1925 TLS on British Museum letterhead from Victor Scholderer to Owen Grazebrook answering the latter's questions about this book.
