Between the two World Wars, the Damour brothers were an extremely dynamic advertising pair: They had an advertising agency (Damour), a publishing company for posters and catalogues (DAM), and also, in November 1923, they launched the magazine Vendre. For nearly 50 years, Vendre was the major professional magazine for publicity, advertising and graphic design in France. Still serving today as one of the main reference sources for the period, this monthly was devoted to "everything which concerns advertising and marketing." The publication includes a wealth of articles and images for the poster collector, with countless articles announcing and critique the newest posters cropping up around Europe.

Includes issues No. 15-53, missing numbers 18, 22, 51. Covers by many poster greats, such as Colin, Mercier, Carlu and Marton. Images available upon request.
