World War I-era University of Illinois class album with more than 110 wonderful

photographs by a professional photographer who carefully documented the school's activities, including war-time pageants, sports events, engineering projects, and life drawing classes, in addition to a host of protomodernist views of buildings, the interior of the power plant, two cyanotypes, and numerous pictures of the campus. Silver and cyanotype prints, 7 1/2x9 3/4 inches (19.1x24.8. cm.), and smaller, many with notations on verso. Oblong folio, gilt-cloth; pages are detached and many of the photographs are unmounted (but in excellent condition). 1918-1919
