Additional Details

first english edition, third impression of Verne's second book to appear in English. Griffith and Farran published the first impression in November 1871 and is extremely rare. The second impression, published a year later, is nearly as difficult to find. Equally uncommon is this third impression, published a year later, with "New Edition" and the year 1874 added to the title-page. Though the translations of these editions from the original French are problematic; they are nonetheless much sought after. Michaluk V002.
