Woodcut on thin cream Japan paper, 1972. 229x295 mm; 9x11 5/8 inches, wide (full ?) margins. Artist's proof, one of a few known impressions. Signed "Vincent", titled and inscribed "AP" in pencil, lower margin recto. Signed, titled, dated and inscribed "AP" in pencil, lower margin verso. A very good, dark impression of this scarce print.

The Soledad Brothers was a cause celebré of the Black Power movement when three politically active black prisoners in the Soledad, CA prison were accused and convicted of murdering a white jail guard in 1970.
