Additional Details

Vishniac's personal inscription reads, "With fond and lasting memories to N. [Nechemia] Glezer from S. Vishniac and the author R.V. [Roman Vishniac]." Glezer was an art dealer in Vilna, Lithuania, where he apparently met Vishniac.

By descent to his wife, Ida, who co-owned the Glezer Gallery on Madison Avenue, New York; to the present owner.
