Condition A-: restoration along vertical and horizontal folds; minor creases and repaired tears at edges.
In the bottom center is depicted "the new Underground headquarters building . . . [which] at ten storeys . . . was London's largest and tallest office block and the city's first American-style skyscraper" (London Transport p. 43). Russian-born Polunin came to London with Diagalev, as the main set designer for the Ballets Russe. He stayed in England and taught a course in stage design at the Slade School of Art.
