Stonehouse; the dark green morocco binding incorporating ten portrait miniatures on the front board, and an additional eight on the back, all after paintings by Vigée Lebrun; with an autograph letter signed by Lebrun and tipped onto the front free end leaf; with elaborate gold tooled decoration to both boards and spine, incorporating roses, with large onlaid bows in contrasting red morocco accenting the center portrait on both boards; teg; ivory watered silk endleaves, leather inner joints; surface slightly rubbed, front joint professionally re-hinged, 8 3/4 x 6 in.
