First edition, two folio volumes, lacking engraved title; typographical title pages printed in red and black, within complicated border made up of small type ornaments; bound in modern uniform dark calf, neatly gilt with two lettering pieces on each spine, untrimmed, with original edge coloring in red; some minor occasional worming, contents crisp, 11 3/4 x 7 3/4 in.
