The RAI in Amsterdam is a massive complex of meeting halls and convention centers. Prior to 1961, when it opened in its current location, the RAI was located on Amsterdam's Ferdinand Bolstraat. The initials are taken from the Rijwiel en Automobiel Industrie, a bicycle and automobile manufacturing trade association that first opened the hall in 1893. Here, the recognizable arch of the building's entrance is visible, augmented with modern neon-like lettering (which did not appear above the building as illustrated). Kempenaer adds a glowing tail light to increase the intensity of the nighttime atmosphere. This is the larger format.
