Additional Details

Walker Evans' printed titled "Two women at a hot dog stand (possibly Coney Island).," is in very good condition. The vintage print shows a dynamic range of tonality from dark blacks to bright highlights.

The silver print is flush mounted to double weight paper. Minimal condition issues can be found in the image area upon close inspection. There is a tiny accretion in the lower left quadrant. The issue is miniscule. Additionally, the edges are slightly worn. Each corner suffers an insignificant, small amount of loss. Apart from these minor issues, the surface of the image is smooth and lustrous.

Mount verso in generally clean. The sheet has slightly warmed in tone. Additionally, around the margins of mount verso, the top layer of the double weight paper has worn. Evan's Lunn Archive hand stamp appears with the notations XIV 12 in pencil. Also, the date 'c. 1929' appears in pencil.

Overall an beautiful example of a vintage Walker Evans print.
