Condition B+: minor scuffing along vertical and horizontal folds; minor restoration in corners and at edges. Ballmer studied in Basel but moved to Milan in 1947, where he went to work in the Studio Boggeri. In 1956, he was hired by Olivetti to join Pintori and Olivetti in the company's design studio. In 1970, he famously redesigned the Italian company's logo. Here, of an exhibition on the design style of the company he utilizes a pure, minimal, Basel school aesthetic. For the same exhibition the following year in Munich, Ballmer reuses the same concept in different colors with the text appearing within the stylized "O."
