"As you once proposed to me the supplying me with Wood I now take this Opport'y of applying to you for that Purpose. If it suits you I shall be glad to have fifteen Cords as soon as it is convenient to you. And should be glad you would inform me by the first Conveyance whether I may depend upon you for the Wood and at what Price you will Load it on any of the Wharves of this Town. I shall also have Occasion for four Hundred Rails and Eighty four five holed Posts in March next. . . ."
