'Mr. Fowler is requested to call on Mr. Henry Perkins, Bookseller, & inquire whether he has sold my Bibles, as I requested, seventeen copies. I requested they might be sold at auction, many months ago, but Mr. Perkins has not written to me since. If the books are sold Mr. Perkins will doubtless remit the proceeds . . . . If not, I repeat the request to have them sold.'
