From the estate of Peter Martin, a photographer, friend and associate of Weegee, Halsman, Orkin, Smith, and many other major New York-based photographers of the late 1940s-early 1950s. Martin had a photographic studio in Greenwich Village and published several photographically-oriented magazines using the material of his friends, but the magazines were not successful beyond four or five issues.
