WEIMER PURSELL (1906-1974) THERE'S NOTHING LIKE A COKE! 1955. 27x15 7/8 inches, 70x40 cm. Condition A. In 1948, Pursell returned to his native state of Tennessee to teach art as the head of the Art Department at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. He went on to run the Commercial Art Department at the University of Florida. In the mid-1950s, he returned to New York and began working with the renowned advertising agency Batten, Barton, Durstine and Osborn (BBDO).
