Etching, 1645. 76x72 mm; 3x2 3/4 inches, narrow margins. Ex-collection G. A. Cardew (Lugt 1134, verso); British Museum (Lugt 302 and 305, verso); and unknown collector, blue ink stamp with the initials "H. B" in a circle verso (not in Lugt). A superb impression of this extremely scarce etching.
This is a portion of the larger plate Muff and White Cloth, 1645.
We have not found another impression of either the whole subject or the portion at auction in the past 20 years. Parthey 1950.
