An architect, painter and graphic artist, Prachensky designed several posters and travel brochure covers. He co-founded an artistic group, "the Balance" in 1925 and is considered a pioneer of Tyrolean modernity. The Tiroler Flugverkehrs Gesellschaft (Tyrolean Airlines) was founded in 1925 and only operated in the summer months.
