Gum bichromate print on Japanese Tissue, the image measuring 8⅝x6½ inches (21.9x16.5 cm.), the sheet 15¼x11¼ inches (38.7x28.6 cm.), the mount slightly larger, with Dassonville's signature in ink on recto, and the Estate of William E. Dassonville stamp on mount verso; in an elaborate original presentation, with a gray paper double overmat and paper backing.

This print was illustrated in the definitive book on Dassonville, Dassonville: William E. Dassonville, California Photographer (Paul Hertzmann & Susan Herzig, Carl Mautz Publishing, 1999, pl. 9, pg. 42). While the image is titled "Carmel Point," the beach in the foreground is what is now known as "Monastery Beach" with Point Lobos in the background.
