While most of Bradley's work was for various elements of the publishing business, he also designed posters and magazine ads for commercial products which were reflected in his earliest Massachusetts commissions. Foremost among these are Victor Bicycles, Columbia Bicycles, The Springfield Bicycle Club and Twin Comet Lawn Sprinklers. This poster, for a drug to cure nicotine addiction, features St. George defeating an allegorical Art Nouveau tobacco demon. "Bradley is undoubtedly one of the best, if not the best, of the poster artists we have in this country" (Philadelphia Ledger circa August 15, 1895).
