A native of Asheville, NC, Willie Nash earned a BA degree in fine arts from North Carolina Central University (NCCU) in Durham, NC. The artist worked as professional illustrator for the U. S. Air Force. His paintings are widely exhibited, and are in the collection of the Charles L. Blockson Afro-American Collection at Temple University, Philadelphia, PA.
