Additional Details

One of Pogány's most creatively illustrated books. It was also somewhat revolutionary in its design as, in 1928, when it was first published, it was still the norm for illustrated books to have uniform text blocks filling the bulk of the pages with interspersed color plates. Pogány broke those conventions and made every page here a fully illuminated illustration, rich with colorful, spontaneous designs.
