Additional Details

number 23 of 2000 copies in Hindustani. Wilson (1804-75) was a Scottish Presbyterian missionary and educator in India who engaged in extensive disputations with local religious leaders in public and in print. This is a relatively early example of lithographic printing in Bombay, which was introduced there in the later 1820s. COPAC records only the copy at Newcastle University; OCLC locates another at Andover Newton Theological School.
