A portrait of a Native American Indian chief ceremoniously garbed in yellow, green, red, blue, orange and pink is depicted between yellow borders with brown images. Winold Reiss lived in Montana as an employee of the Great Northern Railroad Company where he spent many years painting the Blackfeet Indian. His impressive Art Deco inspired portraits were used by the Railroad on calendars and were even included in books.
