original typescript signed by Wodehouse in black ink on final leaf. Something Squishy first appeared in book form in Wodehouse's story collection Mr. Mulliner Speaking (London: Herbert Jenkins, 1929); previously it had appeared in America in The Saturday Evening Post in December, 1924, then in England in Strand Magazine in January, 1925. Very clean copy, with just a handful of fastidiously accomplished over-type corrections.
