Schlosser studied book design in Leipzig and art in Cologne and Prague. During World War II he fled to England where he designed propaganda posters for the British Ministry of Information. Returning to Czechoslovakia after the war he worked as a graphic and exhibition designer. Here promoting the Czech national airlines he depicts a "route map" in the guise of a hand, literally pointing the way to Europe's capital cities.
