This image is based on McCalla's portrayal in the TV series Sheena, Queen of the Jungle (1955–1956). McCalla was also a "Vargas Girl" model for pin-up artist Alberto Vargas. Woody Welch was illustrator who painted iconic sci-fi and pulp genre characters. His mother was Jewel Flowers, long-time pin-up model for Rolf Armstrong.
