The first issue is from a speech delivered on the occasion of the 1946 Herald Tribune forum; the second is a reprint of the foreword from "When Democracy Builds" that coincided with a preview and dinner to accompany an exhibition of his work at Gimbel Brothers in Philadelphia. A program brochure and a list of the guests at the dinner in Wright's honor are included with the lot.
