"Militant suffragism turned out in New York yesterday afternoon and without any hurling of cobblestones or mobbing of police demonstrated its strength in a wonderfully efficient manner. If the numbers in the line of march and the density of the crowds watching the parade may be taken as a criterion, the growth of the movement in the last year has been mighty. To one who watched the parade last year and again this year it was marvellous."
