This print is part of the Manifestaciones portfolio created by a collective of print making artists known as the Dominican York Proyecto Gráfica. This collective is made up of Mendoza as well as other Latinx artists including, Carlos Almonte, Pepe Coronado, Rene de los Santos, Iliana Emilia García, Scherezade García, Reynaldo García Pantaleón, Alex Guerrero, Luanda Lozano, Miguel Luciano, Rene De Los Santos, Moses Ros-Suárez, and Rider Ureña. A print from this edition of Bananhattan was purchased by the Smithsonian American Art Museum in 2013, (Accession number 2013.28.3.10).
