Folio, [pi]1 (engraved title), ¶-4¶2, *-9*2, A-Z2, Aa-Zz2. Aaa-Rrr2 (Rrr2 blank ?integral), illustrated with engraved title and two large folding plates by Pedro Tortolero; bound in full contemporary speckled sheepskin, spine tooled in gilt, loss to some spine surface, leather rubbed but substantially intact, contents clean, a few instances of minor worming, some older paper repairs strengthening folds on verso, 11 3/4 x 8 in.

The Spanish Royal Court made official visits to the city of Sevilla every four years. These lavish celebratory events included pageants, tournaments, bull fights, parades, and more. The plates depict vast gatherings of people on foot and horseback, all carefully identified in the legend, the city laid out in meticulous detail in the background.
